Ethel Cain unveils “Punish”, the lead single from her upcoming project “Perverts”, scheduled for release on January 8, 2025. This marks her first major release since the acclaimed “Preacher’s Daughter”, establishing her as a compelling voice in indie music.

The new track explores themes of shame and self-justification, with Cain questioning “how deep shame can run, and how unforgivable an act could be that I may still justify it”. While not a traditional album, “Perverts” promises to be a 90-minute journey into ambient and drone soundscapes, recorded between Coraopolis, PA and Tallahassee, FL.
