Ducks Ltd. – Grim Symmetry
Ducks Ltd. has just dropped “Grim Symmetry”, a new single via Carpark Records. This track has been in the works for a while, originally written during the “Modern Fiction” era but finally found its perfect form during the “Harm’s Way” sessions.
Tom McGreevy, the band’s singer and guitarist, shared that “Grim Symmetry” was a fan favourite in its demo form, but it took some time to get the recording just right. While it didn’t fit the vibe of “Harm’s Way”, the band is finally excited to share it with fans.
The track was produced by Dave Vettriano, known for his work with Dehd and Lala Lala. It features backing vocals from Julia Steiner of Ratboys and Margaret McCarthy of Moontype, adding depth to Ducks Ltd.’s signature jangle-pop sound.
“Grim Symmetry” follows the release of “When You’re Outside” in May, another outtake from the “Harm’s Way” sessions. It’s a treat for fans following Ducks Ltd. since their 2021 debut “Modern Fiction”.
