Flock – Capillary Waves

Flock, a UK supergroup featuring Bex Burch, Sarathy Korwar, Tamar Osborn, Danalogue, and Al MacSween, is set to release their second album, ‘Flock II’, on October 25th via Strut Records. Unlike their debut, which was recorded in a single day, this album was crafted during a week-long session in the Welsh countryside. The group used unique “jump-off” devices for each piece, drawing inspiration from unconventional structures and atmospheres. These ranged from diagrams with shapes and patterns to a revolving lamp and even a mobile app creating strobe effects. Recorded in a converted church studio, the album promises a mix of intense and hypnotic compositions. ‘Capillary Waves’, the first single, offers a glimpse of the album’s experimental approach.
