sm^sher – beggars belief

Imogen Mason, known from London trio Voka Gentle, is launching her solo project sm^sher with the debut album “pit of mine,” set for release on November 15th via Scrawl World Ltd. The lead single “beggars belief” showcases Mason’s blend of electronic pop with experimental textures, partially inspired by the late Mira Calix. Mason’s approach combines electronic beats with found sounds and acoustic instruments and the project reflects a journey through caring for a loved one battling addiction and her subsequent quest to reclaim her creative identity.
