The Bug Club – Lonsdale Slipons

Welsh band The Bug Club is back with their new single “Lonsdale Slipons,” from their upcoming third album “Reason Enough,” set to release on September 27 via Sub Pop Records.
The track is blend of Modern garage rock, infused with a dash of B-52’s call-and-response fun and power chord grunt.

“Lonsdale Slipons” exemplifies the band’s penchant for combining witty, surreal lyrics with infectious melodies. Vocalist James Cox describes the song as a humorous tribute to the UK’s worst-ever shoes, while the album itself is a product of the band’s experiences juggling day jobs and the relentless news cycle.
