Beach Bunny – Vertigo

Beach Bunny – Vertigo

Beach Bunny returns with a vibrant new single, “Vertigo,” marking their first release since 2022’s “Emotional Creature.” This track is a high-energy mix of indie pop, punk, and catchy melodies that demands listeners to dance along. The song kicks off with dynamic guitar strums and leads into a whirlwind of sound, blending infectious rhythms and emotionally charged lyrics.

Lili Trifilio, the band’s lead vocalist, offers an insightful glimpse into the song’s creation. She penned the melody during a flight, conceptualizing the song around themes of self-sabotage and jealousy. Trifilio recounts trying to record a demo in the airplane bathroom, a challenge due to the loud environment, leading her to memorize the melody throughout the flight.

Currently, Beach Bunny is concluding their tour supporting Melanie Martinez, with shows lined up in Florida, California, Arizona, and Texas. The band is also gearing up for a headline tour later this year, including performances with The Greeting Committee in Missouri and an appearance at Chicago’s Riot Fest.

Fans and critics praised “Emotional Creature” for its blend of bedroom pop and indie elements, and “Vertigo” promises to continue this streak of engaging and emotive music. While no further details have emerged about upcoming releases, “Vertigo” sets a high bar for what’s to come.
